personality test redesign
adobe creative types is an interactive personality quiz created by adobe that invites users to answer a series of questions and discover which of eight creative archetypes best reflects their creative identity. each type comes with its own visual card, personality description, and insights into how that creative style shows up in the world.
as part of a mock pitch campaign to adobe, i researched the adobe brand — its visual identity, policies, and mission statement — to inform a full conceptual redesign of the adobe creative types quiz cards. The deliverable: a series of eight cohesive yet individually distinct pieces operating as a unified visual language.
my concept drew from the bold, unapologetic energy of hyper-saturated supermarket advertisements — a visual vernacular that feels simultaneously mass-market and deeply human. the subject matter, fruit, gave me an unexpected opportunity: to push against the quiz's existing design and inject cultural breadth into it. by incorporating non-Latin, non-western scripts into the typography, i transformed what began as a stylistic choice into a conceptual statement — a call to make creativity feel genuinely universal, not limited to any one cultural context or audience.
the result is a system that is visually loud and commercially charged on the surface, but grounded in the idea that the creative industry belongs to everyone.
