a short video piece built around two of my longest-standing obsessions, denim and basketball, using repetition as its core visual and narrative device.
the piece opens with a deceptively simple premise: two players, one in athletic wear, one in formal attire, a quiet, satirical jab at the performance of professionalism. as the video unfolds, the logic gradually breaks down. each made shot triggers an unexpected consequence, pulling both players deeper into a surrealist spiral: one becoming increasingly constrained by denim, the other slowly shedding the credibility his formal dress was meant to project. what begins as a visual gag reveals itself as something more layered: a meditation on image, identity, and the absurdity of the codes we use to signal who we are.
